BLACK DRESS AND A MOTO JACKET



BLACK DRESS & MOTO JACKET

A little black dress, heels and a moto jacket?
Burberry and H&M?
51 and a bodycon dress?

For me it is a "yes" to these questions because I love a style mix! And although I find "age appropriate" still somewhat relevant it doesn't restrict me from pairing younger pieces like this moto jacket (seen here with a black jumpsuit) with my personal style. As you know my daughter and I regularly share clothes and accessories but we both still stay true to our own style. And that's why I chose my favourite heels for a classy touch.

 ISABI sent me this lovely jacquard knit dress which I can wear with tights and boots during the colder season (with our current weather I think I have to start early!) and for work I'll add a classic blazer. For a softer casual look I will combine it with my pink drape cardigan (also shown here). I really love the versatility a black dress offers!

Alena already had an eye on it and I wonder which styling she comes up with! I will let you know...



EIN KLEINES SCHWARZES MIT BIKERJACKE

Ein Kleines Schwarzes, Pumps und Bikerjacke?

Für mich lauten die Antworten "Ja", da ich einen Stilmix liebe! Und obwohl ich persönlich durchaus etwas von "altersgerechtem" Stil halte, bedeutet er schließlich nicht, dass ich gewisse Dinge nicht "darf"! Und daher habe ich heute zu meinem schwarzen, figurbetonten Strickkleid eine Bikerjacke kombiniert. Ich habe sie übrigens schon einmal zu meinem Jumpsuit hier gezeigt. Aber um trotzdem bei meinem Stil zu bleiben, trage ich meine Lieblingspumps dazu.

 Das Kleid stammt von ISABI und lässt sich in der kühleren Jahreszeit (die wir hier eigentlich schon den ganzen Sommer haben...) prima mit Strumpfhose und Stiefeln kombinieren.  Im Büro kann ich es mit einem klassischen Blazer tragen und zusammen mit meinem rosenholzfarbenen, seidigen ISABI Cardigan (den ich hier getragen habe) wird ein lässiger Look draus. Schwarze Kleider kann man nie genug haben, da sie so vielseitig sind!

Alena hat natürlich auch schon ein Auge drauf geworfen und ich bin gespannt, wie sie es stylen wird. Ich halte Euch auf dem Laufenden...

1 LOOK - 2 STYLINGS: OFFICE AND AFTER WORK


OFFICE LOOK... AND AFTER WORK

First: We are World Champions! The final at the Maracanã has been incredibly exciting and the boys have done a fantastic job and made us Germans proud! Thank you!!
As a passionate football fan I already look forward to the kick-off of the English Premier League mid August, a week before the start of our Bundesliga!

In Southern Germany the summer break hasn't started yet and I am counting the weeks until I can take some leave in August. That means I am still at work and this is a typical look I am wearing these days. A classic stretch pencil skirt (seen here) paired with a blazer at the office - replaced by a casual denim jacket for an easy after work look.

Nude pumps - chic and versatile

Again and again I have worn my old nude heels and mentioned how much I love them... finally it was time to replace them with a new pair. Cloggs sent me these nude patent heels by Clarks and it was an easy good-bye to my old ones. Classy with a small platform and extremely comfortable with a soft shock-absorbing inner sole they have already become my new favourites!

EIN LOOK FÜR'S BÜRO... UND DANACH

Wir sind Weltmeister! Und da ich ja ein ganzjähriger und nicht nur ein WM oder EM Fußballfan bin und mir wirklich jedes Spiel anschaue, kommt jetzt erst mal eine Durststrecke... aber zum Glück beginnt schon Mitte August die Premier League, bevor es eine Woche danach wieder mit der Bundesliga losgeht!

Die Sommerferien haben bei uns in Bayern ja noch nicht begonnen, aber ich zähle schon die Wochen, bis ich im August Urlaub nehmen kann. Also bin ich nach wie vor im Büro und heute zeige ich Euch einen typischen Officelook, wie ich ihn gerne trage. Ein klassischer, dunkelblauer Stretchrock (hier gesehen), den ich im Büro mit einem schmalen Blazer und in der Freizeit mit meiner Jeansjacke kombiniere.

Nudefarbene Pumps - klassisch und vielseitig

Immer wieder habe ich meine nudefarbenen Pumps getragen und betont, wie gern ich sie mag, aber irgendwann kam die Zeit, sie durch ein neues Paar zu ersetzen. Cloggs hat mir diese Lacklederpumps von Clarks geschickt, die mir den Abschied von meinen alten wirklich leicht gemacht haben :-) Ein klassischer Schuh mit einer kleinen Plateausohle und einer für mich perfekten Absatzhöhe. Das besondere ist ein weiches, stoßdämpfendes Fußbett, dadurch sind die Schuhe unheimlich angenehm zu tragen. Und schon habe ich neue Lieblingsschuhe!

THE MOST COMFORTABLE PENCIL SKIRT

The sun came out after a long grey and rainy period! My friend Véronique spent the weekend with me and jumped in as my photographer before we went out for a nice breakfast and some shopping in my neighbour town Garmisch-Partenkirchen.


The weather now allows me to wear dresses and skirts again, albeit with my pale legs... For a while I meant to show you my new blue stretch skirt sent over by ISABI. I love working with them and have already shown you my bootcut jeans and my wide shrug. The jersey skirt creates a smooth silhouette and the deep elastic waistband makes it so comfortable for a day at the office. 

I paired it with a soft blouse with paisley prints from French brand Etam. It is a bit longer, more like a tunic and also looks great over a pair of white skinny tousers or capris and flat sandals or espadrilles for a real summer feeling (well, one day... still waiting for that!)

DER BEQUEMSTE BLEISTIFTROCK

Endlich kam die Sonne raus und meine Freundin Véronique und ich haben ein schönes Wochenende zusammen verbracht - Brunch in Garmisch und anschließend noch ein bisschen Shopping. Die gemeinsame Zeit ist einfach immer wieder schön! Und sie war auch so nett und hat noch ein paar Fotos für Euch gemacht.

Nun kann ich auch wieder Kleider und Röcke tragen, nur meine blassen Beine müsst Ihr mir nachsehen... ich denke aber, das geht vielen von Euch so! Cla von glam up your lifestyle hatte erst kürzlich über Selbstbräuner berichtet und ich sitze hier gerade mit eingecremten Beinen ;-)

Heute kann ich Euch auch endlich meinen neuen dunkelblauen Stretchrock zeigen, den mit ISABI geschickt hat. Unsere Zusammenarbeit ist immer wieder super und ich hatte Euch schon meine Bootcut Jeans und meinen weiten, seidigen Cardigan vorgestellt. Die Silhouette mag ich einfach und der unheimlich bequeme Stretchanteil und Elastikbund sind perfekt, wenn man im Büro am Schreibtisch sitzt.

Dazu trage ich eine ganz angenehm weiche Bluse mit Paisleymuster der Französischen Marke Etam.Sie hat eher Tunikalänge und sieht daher auch super zu weißen Skinnies oder einer Caprihose aus. Dazu flache Sandalen oder Espadrilles für einen klasse Sommerlook (naja, von sommerlichen Temperaturen und Urlaub träume ich momentan noch...)

ISABI: MOTHER & DAUGHTER JEANS STYLINGS

My favourite bootcut jeans are back! When I showed them on the blog for the first time here, I already mentioned how comfortable they are and I really do love them! 

Now ISABI sent me this beautiful pink draped shrug with butterfly sleeves to complete my look. The mercerised viscose gives it a satin touch and feels awesome on my skin. It is an ideal cover for summer evenings and is also available in Burgundy, Silvergrey and Moss Green. I can't wait to show you how I wear it with this fabulous fitted dress from ISABI soon.

While Lucas already had to go back to his university in Bayreuth, I am happy to have Alena here with me during her term break before she will return to London right after Easter. 

Numerous times I said that we share our closets. This brought up the idea for a "Mother & Daughter" post on our blogs. But we even went one step further and invited our lovely US friends Kim and her daughter Chloe over at popcosmo for a joint post. Alena and I were so happy when they instantly agreed!

ISABI JEANS & SHRUG

Meine Lieblingsjeans habe ich Euch vor einiger Zeit hier vorgestellt. Der Schnitt und das Stretchmaterial sind unheimlich bequem und ich trage sie wirklich gern. 

Nun hat mir ISABI diesen tollen roséfarbenen Cardigan mit Fledermausärmeln geschickt, der super dazu passt. Es ist ein seidig schimmerndes Viscosematerial und fühlt sich so angenehm auf der Haut an. Ich mag diese Art von Jacken einfach gerne und sie passen natürlich nicht nur zu Jeans. Wie ich die Jacke, die es auch in Bordeaux, Silbergrau und Khakigrün gibt, mit diesem engen Kleid von ISABI kombiniere, zeige ich Euch demnächst!

Egal in welchem Alter, es gibt nichts nichts schöneres, als meine Kinder um mich zu haben! Lucas' Semester hat in Bayreuth schon wieder begonnen, Alena ist noch bis Ostern hier, bevor sie zurück nach London fliegt. 

Ich erzähle ja immer wieder, dass wir regelmäßig Kleidung tauschen und so ist die Idee für einen gemeinsamen "Mutter & Tochter" post entstanden. Dazu haben wir unsere amerikanischen Bloggerfreundinnen Kim und ihre Tochter Chloe von popcosmo eingeladen und uns wahnsinnig gefreut, dass sie unsere Idee begeistert angenommen haben!

DRESSED UP BOOTCUT JEANS BY ISABI

I am not a casual jeans girl but who said jeans have to be worn with a t-shirt and trainers? Jeans dressed up and paired with a blazer and heels are my favourite version. Until now I only wore skinnies or occasionally boyfriend jeans and finally got this pair of wide bootcut jeans that ISABI sent me. 

Overly comfortable and with a high waist which isn't only ideal for my hourglass figure but also made a trend revival. Honestly, I never liked low rise hip trousers sitting on the widest part of my body anyway! And that's exactly ISABI's aim: "We recognise that real women have shape and curves, and our clothes are designed and cut with you and your shape in mind."

Unless you work in a corporate job with a very strict dresscode, I think this is an outfit which allows you to wear jeans in the office and still look appropriate!

I am happy to introduce you to selected pieces from ISABI's spring/summer collection 2014 as their brand ambassador over the next couple of months.

Jeans und T-Shirt allzu lässig kombiniert ist nichts für mich, aber es gibt ja auch andere Stylingvarianten für Jeans! Ich fühle mich wohl, wenn ich Jeans mit einem klassischen Blazer, hohen Schuhen und Schmuck oder einem Seidentuch kombiniere. Allerdings hatte ich bisher nur Skinnies oder gemäßigte Boyfriend Jeans, bis mir ISABI diese hochgeschnittenen Bootcut Jeans geschickt hat. 

Ich habe noch nie derart bequeme und gleichzeitig super geschnittene Jeans getragen, der Stretchanteil und "High Waist Cut" machen es aus. Lange Zeit als "Mom Jeans" in Verruf geraten, sind sie jetzt wieder topaktuell. Und darüber bin ich wirklich froh, denn ehrlich gesagt, mochte ich die tiefsitzenden Hüftjeans noch nie! Warum soll ich ausgerechnet die breiteste Stelle meines Körpers betonen, wenn ich eine sehr schmale Taille habe? Das ist auch ISABI's Intention: "Frauen haben Formen und Kurven und genau dafür entwerfen und schneidern wir unsere Kleidung!"

Außer Ihr habt an Eurem Arbeitsplatz einen sehr strengen, konservativen Dresscode, ist dies meiner Meinung nach ein Look, der zeigt wie man Jeans im Büro tragen kann und dennoch angemessen gekleidet ist.

In den nächsten Monaten werde ich Euch ausgewählte Teile der aktuellen ISABI Frühjahr/Sommerkollektion 2014 als ihre Markenbotschafterin vorstellen!
