STYLING SERIES #3: BLACK JUMPSUIT & COOL LEATHER
This is what I have done today and my idea was to show you the versatility of a classic black jumpsuit. I don’t own a moto jacket myself (real leather 50% off here and budget friendly faux leather here) but took advantage of my daughter’s closet again. I have to say I did feel different but not uncomfortable, maybe a bit naughty in this cool styling. A lighter, still casual version of this style could be a classic denim jacket.
And while I was in that mood I tried out Alena’s sunglasses too – just for fun 😉
In the meantime spring turned nature into fresh Green and I am amazed about the difference to last week when we took these photos.
I am very curious about your opinion on my unusual look!
STYLING SERIE #3: SCHWARZER OVERALL & LEDER
Vermutlich habt Ihr diesen Look nicht erwartet und vielleicht konnte ich Euch ein bisschen überraschen… Ihr wisst, dass ich normalerweise einen femininen, eleganten Stil trage, aber manchmal ist es auch wichtig, dass man etwas anderes ausprobiert, sich etwas traut, was man normalerweise nicht unbedingt tragen würde.
Das habe ich heute getan und es war für mich einfach, denn ich mußte mir dafür nichts kaufen, sondern ich habe mir einfach Alena’s Bikerjacke (Optionen hier und hier) ausgeliehen… Ich gestehe, in diesem coolen Look habe ich mich schon ganz anders gefühlt, nicht unwohl, eher ein bisschen frech „in meinem Alter“! Als etwas softere Variante kann die Lederjacke auch durch eine klassische Jeansjacke ersetzt werden.
Und dann war es nur noch ein kleiner Schritt, ihre verspiegelte Sonnenbrille dazu aufzusetzen – und wenn auch nur für’s Foto 🙂
In der Zwischenzeit ist die Natur hier richtig explodiert und in viel satterem Grün als noch vor einer Woche hier auf diesen Fotos.

das war in der Tat eine Überraschung für mich, Sie in einer rockigen Biker-Jacke, das fällt aus dem Rahmen. Spontan dachte ich: sieh mal an, das kann sie also auch. Zu Ihrem schwarzen Jumpsuit gefallen mir jedoch die eleganten Styling-Varianten letztlich besser (die habe ich mir zum Vergleich extra noch einmal angesehen). Ich könnte mir diese coole Jacke jedoch mit Ihrer Isabi-Jeans, einer Seidenbluse und edlen Lederpumps super an Ihnen vorstellen. Wer weiß, vielleicht sehen wir diese Jacke an Ihnen ja noch mal wieder…

Sogar sehr gut!! In unserem Alter kann man ruhig mal etwas frecher erscheinen.Diese Outfit sieht etwas jugendlich und modern aus. Nicht dass ich deinen eigentlichen Stil nicht mag, ganz im Gegenteil… aber so wie heute würde ich dich gerne öfters sehen. Was hat deine Tochter dazu gesagt?

Liebe Annette, Du siehst sehr cool und edgy aus, und mir gefällt es sehr gut. Es bringt eine andere Seite von Dir zum Vorschein und empfinde das als das größte Geschenk von Kleidung. ein sehr cooler Look, der mir an Dir wirklich gut gefällt. Die Lederjacke sieht super aus und ist ein gekonnter Stilbruch zum eleganten Jumpsuit. Dennoch wirkt die Kombination nicht zu rockig, der elegante Chic bleibt im Vordergrund. Wie Conny, kann ich mir die Lederjacke auch gut als Kombipartner zu anderen Outfits bei Dir vorstellen.

Ok. What i need to know first is , where is your Harley parked? Just kidding! I love this! Would totally wear this. I have a leather jacket with large collar I get compliments on, and this is very neat with the quilted detailing, I really like it on you. The second thing was, „Can I borrow Annette's shoes?“ I love these kind of cut out shoes and am always attracted to them when I see them on sites. The shades complete the look, very cool! I wish I didn't have to have a prescription in my sunglasses, as I would buy more for summer, but I have the transition lenses, and most of the time there is UV sun, so you don't get to see my eyes as much with my glasses on. I like the look!

LIebe Annette, die Bikerjacke ist ein tolles Teil um das fließende Jumpsuit in seiner Eleganz zu durchbrechen und dem ganzen einen urbanen Touch verleiht. Du schaust traumhaft schön aus. Die Jacke schaut aus wie eine echte teure Lederjacke, hätte jetzt nicht gedacht, dass sie von H&M ist. 5 Sterne für das Ensemble 🙂

Annette I love this black ensemble on you it is so chic. The jumpsuit is a great piece this year and you wear this so beautifully. I love These Ray Bans- they are awesome. This outfit is a little edgier than what you normally wear but you always bring a bit of elegance to all of your ensembles. Love it.

You look gorgeous and I wouldn't guess that this wasn't your outfit if I didn't know better. It's fun borrowing from them, isn't it? Stepping outside our comfort zone from time to time is a good idea. I think you look great… but I'm always more comfortable in „casual“ unless I'm heading to very elegant outing. Hi Annette, This outfit I would wear in a heartbeat. I don't think you could look anything but elegant and feminine in whatever outfit you put together. There is nothing haphazard about the outfit and it looks very polished and chic.
The three options are lovely, but this one, with the leather jacket, I feel great.

The biker will not only looks good, but you're young and very appropriate.
The seriousness daily is excellent. But it should add a touch of fun.

I love your blog and the way you style your clothes. I too prefer a more elegant way of dressing. With my larger bum and thighs I think skirts and dresses look much smarter than trousers on me. I do like your jacket. Ann Taylor has a crepe moto jacket (with a v shaped neckline) on sale. I got my sister (who lives in the USA) to check it out as I wanted it. However, LOL, she said I was too old to wear it at my age (57 yrs). After seeing how great you look in your jacket, I kick myself for not buying the Ann Taylor one.
