SOME THINGS GET BETTER AS THEY GET OLDER
... LIKE MY SUEDE LEATHER JACKET
I am sure you also have clothes in your wardrobe which are almost as old as your children, right? I can't even remember when I bought this suede leather blazer from Hallhuber, a Munich based brand. Still loving it (shown here) as it is a versatile, timeless and classic piece of very good quality.
Which leads me to my next topic! Mature fashion bloggers have been interviewed for ifb and featured in a "Best Of" list!
Recently the article "Does the industry expect you to age out of blogging?" gained incredible interest and feedback on ifb (Independent Fashion Bloggers). I regularly follow this great source for bloggers and was contacted by Julia, writer for ifb and blogger behind Fashion Pulse Daily.
Together with fabulous blogger friends, including Sylvia of 40+ Style and Dawn Lucy of Fashion Should Be Fun, I gave an interview on the subject of "Fashion blogging only gets better as you get older!"
How amazing is it to find my blog amongst "The Most Stylish Bloggers over 40"?! I am so honoured being part of this awesome list by Alyson of The Average Girl's Guide.
"When it comes to style, there’s no age when most women say, ah, forget this. We always want to look our best. Based on the popularity of TAGG’s recent Style Bloggers Over 30 post, it’s clear there are a lot of women like me, and those one, two and three decades older who are flocking to the internet, yet seemingly feel disconnected to the gorgeous, albeit younger style bloggers.
That over 30 post was such a hit, and was a learning experience on my end to see how many readers TAGG has in its 40s and 50s (hi!), logically asking for a post with over 40 blog recommendations."

MANCHES WIRD IM ALTER BESSER - WIE MEINE WILDLEDERJACKE
Ich bin mir sicher, auch Ihr habt einige Teile in Eurem Kleiderschrank, die Ihr seit ewigen Zeiten habt und immer noch gerne tragt. Bei mir ist es z.B. dieser Wildlederblazer, den ich vor 15 bis 20 Jahren bei Hallhuber in München gekauft habe. Noch richtig im Laden, nicht im Onlineshop, wie ich es heute meistens tue!
Er ist klassisch, zeitlos und durch die neutrale Farbe sehr vielseitig zu kombinieren (hier schon einmal gezeigt). Leider habe ich vor einigen Jahren etliche sehr teure Teile weggegeben und trauere noch heute vielen davon nach...
Und ein gewisses Alter ist auch die perfekte Überleitung zu meinen beiden nächsten Themen:

Und geehrt fühle ich mich, unter den Top Ü40 Stilbloggern auf The Average Girl's Guide gelistet zu sein!
