After my colourful look in my last post, I am wearing quite the opposite shades today. Beige and brown can easily look dull and frumpy and here is how to avoid this impression!

Mix different shades
Beige, cognac, brown, cream, chocolate

Throw in some contrast
Black silk layering top

Wear interesting structures
Faux leather pencilskirt, woolen top with ruffles, leather ankle boots

Add patterns
Scarf with animal prints

Finish with some jewellery
Statement necklace and golden bracelets

Result
An elegant yet trendy look!

Sometimes it is all about colours but I also love an all black look. Whereas there are days when I prefer pastels or neutral colours. Today I definitely do and OPUS who sent me this outfit, calls it "Airy Whites" and I feel it is perfect for spring!

Stylish complete outfits for women who define themselves by their style rather than by their age: feminine, casual, clear and individual. 

OPUS stands for casual female fashion with attention to detail. High-quality materials and perfect fit underscore their style. Continuity, sustainability (my blogger friend Conny of Pants and Tops currently discusses this important topic in her new series) and honesty are important factors for OPUS who prefer to provide quality rather than quantity. Fellow blogger Sylvia of 40+ Style recently talked about boxy jackets and how to style them. Today I show you my version in combination with skinny trousers. These bleached jeans are incredibly soft and elastane makes them extremely comfortable to wear. The slightly higher waist is an extra bonus!
Paired with soft stripes, a neutral shirt with lovely lace details and a studded leather belt is a typical easy going look of OPUS. 
I love the versatility of these pieces and by adding a pair of heels and silver jewellery I made it my own feminine style!

SOMEDAY IS TODAY mit OPUS

Lately I have worn a lot of colours from Turquois to Coral Red and Emerald Green - something I never thought of a couple of years ago when my wardrobe consisted of mainly black and neutral tones. I am enjoying our lovely spring weather and sunshine and chose my bright red skinnies for a casual weekend look. Just dressed it up a bit with my favourite nude heels and a light blazer.

I have received a huge amount of feedback on my "glamour look" in my last post. Thank you so much, I am really flattered and I am glad you liked it.

An hour ago I arrived in Hamburg where my blogger friend Cla of Glam Up Your Lifestyle and I will model for German Designer, Stylist and previous judge of Germany's Next Top Model Thomas Rath and his brandnew collection for QVC. 

I couldn't be more thrilled and will make sure to upload photos via Instagram and Facebook for you while I am gone.

In letzter Zeit habe ich sehr viel Farbe getragen - etwas, was noch vor ein paar Jahren undenkbar gewesen wäre und ich hauptsächlich Schwarz und neutrale Töne trug! Nach Türkis, Korallenrot und Smaragdgrün folgen nun meine engen Jeans in einem kräftigen Rot. Ich genieße unser Frühlingswetter und die Sonne und dieser Look ist für mich am Wochenende ideal: Bequem, aber dennoch nicht zu lässig mit meinen Lieblings Peeptoes und hellem Blazer kombiniert.

There is a time for colour and I will never give up an all black look. But sometimes I am just in the mood for soft neutrals.

I went for a style mix and paired basic trousers and my casual knitted cardigan {last seen here and here} with a silky lace top and my new pearl necklace which Jasmin - one of my  photographers - gave me for Christmas. Thank you so much, dear Jasi.

The amazing weather and temperatures here in the mountains of Southern Bavaria over the past weeks allowed me to wear heels instead of boots and there was no need for a warm coat, gloves and a hat!
