Bordeaux – eine Farbe, die ich in dieser Herbst/Winter Saison sicher noch häufig trage und hier vorstelle.
Fast immer kombiniere ich diesen kühlen Ton auch mit anderen kalten Farben wie Schwarz, Weiss oder Dunkelblau und heute ist Silber an der Reihe.

Mein bestickter, mit Silberfäden durchzogener und Nieten und Borte besetzter Blazer von Madeleine passt für etwas kühleres Übergangswetter perfekt dazu. In Kombination mit meinen schwarzen Lederleggings hatte ich ihn kürzlich bereits vorgestellt.

Und da ich ein Fan von Zwei-Farben-Looks bin, bleibt auch der Rest in diesen Tönen. Meine silberne Ledertasche ist derzeit ein Dauerbrenner und wirklich ständig dabei.

Neu sind meine bordeauxfarbenen Pumps aus Lackleder, ebenfalls aus der aktuellen Kollektion von Madeleine. Demnächst werden sie in anderer Kombinbation einen ganz besonderen Auftritt haben, aber ich konnte nicht warten, sie schon vorher zu tragen… wo und wie sie zum Einsatz kommen, verrate ich Euch allerdings erst nächste Woche. Ich freue mich wahnsinnig auf diese Gelegenheit und vor allem, dass ich dazu meine beste Freundin, die ich seit über 30 Jahren kenne, mitnehmen kann!

 

Bordeaux und Silber:
Kühle und edle Farbkombination

 

Gelegentlich – aber wirklich eher selten – trage ich kräftige Farben, in erster Linie Rot oder auch mal ein kräftiges, kühles Grün (wie in meinem nächsten Post), aber grundsätzlich vertraue ich auf neutrale Töne.

Rot ist auffällig und steht für sich allein, eine Signalfarbe, die keine weiteren Highlights braucht, im Gegenteil, wenn ich Rot trage, tritt alles andere in den Hintergrund.

Bordeaux hingegen braucht Akzente um richtig zu wirken. Oder ein auffälliges Makeup, aber da bin ich bekanntlich eher zurückhaltend.
Accessoires und Details in Silber finde ich besonders edel dazu und passt auch schön zu einem noch dunkleren Weinrot und Pflaumentönen.

Burgundy – a fabulous colour for autumn and winter which made several appearances on my blog in the past and for sure will also be around in future.
I usually style it with cold colours like black, white or navy blue and I went for silver for my classic look today.

My blazer with floral embroidery by Madeleine is an ideal combination for this season and I have previously shown it with my leather leggings in this post.

Since I am a huge fan of 2-tone looks I kept everything else in silver and burgundy too – my silver leather bag quickly became my favourite bag with its super soft leather and I am taking it to the office most of the time these days. It is also available in gold and bronze and on SALE now!

For the first time I am wearing my new patent leather heels which are also from Madeleine’s new autumn collection. They will be one of the highlights of my outfit for an upcoming event (which I am really excited about!!) but I couldn’t resist and already wore them with this business look. Stay tuned, next week I’ll tell you more about this amazing event I will be attending with my best friend for over 30 years.

 

Burgundy and silver:
A sophisticated colour combination

 

Sometimes – but really not very often – I am wearing bright colours like red or an amazing green like in my next post. Usually I stick to neutral tones and a lot of black.

A signal colour like red (actually THE signal colour as such) doesn’t require any other highlights or accessories, in fact it doesn’t want any competition! When I am wearing red I have to be in the MOOD FOR RED and keep the rest of my outfit very simple.

Burgundy, although a very special and beautiful colour, needs some enhancement in order to stand out. Silver accessories and details are a good way to brighten up this tone and also work well with darker hues like plum.
