HOW I WEAR THE TREND: CAPES AND PONCHOS
I know my personal style and carefully choose new trends – which sometimes are even recurring and we have worn them many years before and never thought they’d come back 😉
Some of them will immediately catch my attention, I skip others (Birkenstocks, especially the new furry ones…) and there are several trends which I have to get used to and only add to my looks a bit later.
Over the next weeks, I will show you seasonal trends and tell you whether and how they made their way into my wardrobe!
Currently capes and ponchos are one of the major trends for the autumn season. They come in many different styles from ethnic patterns, animal prints or knitted ponchos to classic and elegant versions mainly in camel or black.
Several years ago I bought 2 wool capes in burgundy and beige (shown here) in a small boutique in Italy and will certainly wear them again this season. And I already keep an eye on this classic black cape from Mango!
I admit they are not the most practical garment e.g. driving can get a little awkward und you may have to take your cape off before fastening the seatbelt. But being all wrapped up feels so cosy! And they are wide enough to wear a thicker sweater underneath without squeezing your arms into tight sleeves of your coat. Definitely a „Yes“ from me!

WIE TRAGE ICH DEN TREND: CAPES UND PONCHOS
Ich kenne meinen persönlichen Stil und beobachte aktuelle Trends erst einmal vorsichtig – manche sind ja auch nicht wirklich neu, sondern eher nach dem Motto „gab es schon mal in den 80ern…!“ An einigen Trends
komme ich natürlich gar nicht vorbei, andere lasse ich einfach links liegen (Thema Birkenstock… und jetzt noch schlimmer mit Fell!) und bei manchen dauert es einige Zeit, bis ich sie für mich entdecke.
In meiner neuen Serie zeige ich Euch in den nächsten Wochen, wie ich saisonale Trends in meine Garderobe und meinen Stil integriere – oder eben nicht 😉
Capes
und Ponchos sind jetzt topaktuell und es gibt sie in zahlreichen Varianten von Ponchos im Ethnostil, grobgestrickten Versionen mit weitem Rollkragen, mit Leomuster bedruckt bis hin zu klassisch-eleganten Capes, oft in Beige oder Schwarz und manchmal mit Armschlitzen. Und sogar Mäntel mit Pelerinen sind wieder da!
Schon vor einigen Jahren habe ich in einer kleinen italienischen Boutique zwei Wollcapes in Bordeaux und in Beige (hier gezeigt) gekauft, die ich in dieser Saison wieder tragen werde. Und bei meiner Recherche habe ich mich in dieses klassische schwarze Cape von Mango verliebt!
Zugegebenermaßen sind Capes nicht die praktischsten Kleidungsstücke (muss auch nicht immer sein, manchmal reicht ja auch schön!) und beim Autofahren und Anschnallen sicher nicht ideal. Aber sie sind so unheimlich kuschelig und außerdem kann man drunter bequem im Lagenlook einen Pulli tragen. Für mich also ein klares „Ja“!

was für ein traumhaftes Cape! Da ich gerade selbst auch total auf dem „Cape Trip“ bin, bin ich total begeistert von Deinem Outfit. Dieses Cape ist wundervoll, die Farbe einfach nur schön und es steht Dir fantastisch.Auch das Styling mit Schwarz und der passenden Tasche gefällt mir total gut. Ich glaube , ich muss gleich los und mir noch ein burgunderfarbenes Cape holen…

Hallo Annette, zuerst dachte ich, der Trend mit Capes würde (da leider ein bisschen unpraktisch) an mir vorüber gehen, aber inzwischen finde ich sie so schön, dass ich mir wahrscheinlich doch eins zulegen werde.
Birkenstocks auf der Straße sind für mich auch nicht wirklich chic und deshalb habe ich gerne auf diesen Trend verzichtet. Gefütterte Modelle finde ich einfach nur gruselig – da frage ich mich wirklich, ob das irgendwem gefällt.
Dein Outfit ist wie immer sehr schön und gelungen, schlicht und elegant. Gefällt mir gut.

Liebe Annette, eigentlich konnte ich einem Cape bzw. Poncho nichts abgewinnen. Aber komischerweise mag ich es inzwischen recht gerne. Also auch bei mir ist wohl mittlerweile dieser Trend angekommen. Gerade dein weinrotes Cape gefällt mir gut uns passt gut zur weißen Bluse und schwarz.
Endlich kann ich deinen neuen Haarschnitt ausführlich bewundern. Sieht verdammt klasse aus. Der Schnitt ist dein Schnitt. 🙂

Ich liebe Capes liebe Annette, und wenn ich mir Dich so anschaue, dann weiß ich auch ganz genau wieso… und Du hast es in einem sensationellen Burgunderton gewählt… Das ist einfach ein Traum. Deine Kombi ist ohnehin absolut perfekt – und absolut alltagstauglich. Das Einzige was mir zum Nachstylen fehlt ist ein Cape in Burgunder…. schade.
