Mein Lieblingsteil aus der aktuellen Kollektion von Finery
Es gibt keine Farbe, die ich so gerne trage wie Schwarz, egal ob komplett Schwarz, in klassischem Schwarz-Weiß, elegant mit Camel und Cognac-Tönen oder wie hier in der eher ungewöhnlichen Kombination mit Dunkelblau. Einzig die Farbzusammenstellung mit kräftigen Farben wie Rot (außer Bordeaux) oder Gelb mag ich gar nicht!Ich habe schon ein paar Overalls im Schrank, konnte aber bei diesem klassischen Modell von Finery London mit Kragen und V-Ausschnitt nicht widerstehen! Letzte Woche habe ich ihn zum Event bei Tchibo in Hamburg getragen (darüber berichte ich noch), da ich aber meine Fotografin Jasmin zur gleichen Zeit in Paris war, habe ich meinen Look nun nochmal nachgestylt. Das Mitternachtsblau der Tasche wiederholt sich im Satinbesatz des Ärmelsaumes und meiner Glitzerpumps. Das sind die Details, auf die ich immer sehr genau achte!
Finery London, eine Britische Marke, die erst 2014 von zwei in der Modebranche erfahrenen Frauen über 40 gegründet wurde, ist nicht mit einer der bekannten, großen Marken zu vergleichen. Es ist ein noch kleines Team, der direkte Kontakt ist sehr angenehm und es ist schön, so ein Unternehmen zu begleiten und Mode hier vorzustellen!
Im Sommer 2014, während eines Besuches bei meiner Tochter, sind wir nämlich eher zufällig auf den Finery Pop-Up Store (ein temporärer Laden, oft zur Einführung einer neuen Marke) bei Covent Garden gestoßen und haben uns dort umgeschaut, mit den Assistentinnen gesprochen und Alena hat schon damals fleißig eingekauft – seither ist sie regelmäßige Bestellerin und auch ich habe auf dem Blog schon einen Bürolook mit meinen Sommerrock gezeigt und in meinem letzten Post hatte ich Euch meine silbernen Sneakers vorgestellt – zwei Kleider kommen noch, wenn es wärmer wird, dazu ist es selbst mir mit nackten, blassen Beinen noch zu frisch 😉
Die Kollektion ist ausgefallen und individuell, aber es sind auch klassische Teile dabei. Man wird vermutlich nicht gleich einer anderen Frau mit der gleichen Bluse oder Schuhen über den Weg laufen, was ja gerade heute bei den vielen Ketten doch eher „normal“ ist. Deswegen ist ein eigenes, persönliches Styling ja auch so wichtig!

SOPHISTICATED PARTY LOOK IN A BLACK JUMPSUIT

My favourite piece from Finery’s new collection – and it’s black again!
It is definitely my favourite colour and I love all black or classic black&white looks, elegant stylings with camel and cognac or a more unusual combination with navy blue. However, pairing it with bright colours like red (except burgundy) or yellow is not an option for me as I don’t like that contrast.Although I have already got a selection of jumpsuits, I couldn’t resist this elegant, classy model from Finery London!
I first wore it last week when I attended a Fashion Show in Hamburg (I will tell you more about it soon) but since my photographer Jasmin was in Paris at the same time, I restyled my look. The midnight blue of my handbag (Mango – but sold out already!) reflects the blue satin of the cuffs and my sparkling shoes. It is all about the little details, isn’t ?
Finery London, founded in 2014 by two 40+ women with lots of experience in the fashion industry is still a growing brand. It is a pleasure working with the lovely Olivia of their PR team, the personal contact with a company makes it very special to present the collection here on the blog!
In summer 2014, during one of my visits of my daughter in London, Alena and I spent a day shopping and by coincidence we saw their pop-up store near Covent Garden. We had a very interesting conversation with the shop assistants and Alena even included Finery into a research project for CSM. Of course we didn’t leave the shop empty handed and ever since Alena is a regular Finery customer! Their style is ageless and I showed my summer skirt styled for the office in this previous post. Have you seen my first spring styling wearing their silver slip-on sneakers in my last post?
As soon as the temperature will increase – and my legs have got some sun tan – I will show you two more dresses from Finery.
Finery’s style is contemporary, sometimes edgy but there are classic pieces as well. You won’t necessarily meet other women wearing the same top or shoes at the next party which nowadays can happen too often when you shop from popular highstreet brands. A personal styling is more important than ever!

Liebe Annette, dieser Look ist mal wieder ein absoluter Volltreffer! Der Jumpsuit steht dir einfach wundervoll, du siehst elegant und trotzdem lässig aus. Dazu die Schuhe (bin verliebt 🙂 ) und die Tasche. An den tollen Schmuck hätte ich mich selbst nicht getraut, aber er passt perfekt! Du bist einfach immer wieder eine Inspiration 🙂

You look peach perfect in that jumpsuit. Unlike tou I would add yellow or red haha. As I love contrasts. But I also like it like this. That bag is so good. Cannot believe it is Mango. Could be a very expensive designer brand. And the jewellery is beautiful and contemporary.
