Also nichts mit Blazer und meinen neuen silbernen Slippers und 3/4 langen Jeans ohne Strümpfe… Dabei bin ich eine der ersten, die mit nackten Beinen geht (und sich ständig überflüssige gutgemeinte Kommentare anhören muss), aber als wir letzte Woche diese Fotos machten, war es trotz des sonnigen Wetters so eiskalt, dass ich doch wieder auf warme Sachen zurückgreifen und auch Stiefel tragen mußte. Ich möchte authentisch bleiben, es ist halt erst Februar und ich träume also weiter vom Frühling, der auch so bald nicht kommen wird, es ist nach wie vor kalt, wir haben jede Nacht deutliche Minusgrade und heute sogar wieder Schnee :-(((

Das besondere an meinem heutigen Look fällt Euch aber vermutlich gar nicht auf.
Die Jacke, die ich trage, ist nämlich eine Männerjacke, die mein Sohn vor langer Zeit für sich selbst in New York bei Armani Exchange gekauft hat.
Lucas macht seit mehreren Jahren Bodybuilding und nun auch zusätzlich Kickboxen und hat dadurch natürlich einen total durchtrainierten tollen Körper :-))) In diese Jacke passt er somit schon lange nicht mehr! Seither hing sie im Schrank, nun habe ich sie in die Reinigung gebracht und habe vor, sie zu verkaufen, da sie wie neu ist und ich sie vermutlich viel zu selten trage.

Wo verkauft Ihr gut erhaltene Kleidung?

Und das ist nur der Anfang, denn eine große Aufräumaktion und Aussortieren im Keller steht bei mir dick im Kalender!!! Und wie immer stehe ich dann vor der Frage: wohin mit den noch sehr gut erhaltenen Sachen? ebay ist mir zu aufwändig und lohnt sich gleichzeitig zu wenig, auf dem Mädchenflohmarkt wiederum habe ich bislang kaum etwas verkaufen können. Schon vor einiger Zeit habe ich überlegt, hier auf dem Blog einen Tictail Shop zu integrieren. Wer von Euch hat damit als Verkäuferin schon Erfahrung?

Transitional look in a warm knitted jacked with faux fur

Initially I had planned to show you a different look as I think we all had enough of dressing for the cold season and look forward to lighter clothes and shoes for spring. But it is only February after all and the weather said NO!

No to cropped jeans and my new silver slippers, no to a blazer… Usually I am the first to not wear tights or socks anylonger (I constantly have to listen to unnecessary well-intended comments though!) but last week, although it was really sunny, a nasty windchill made me wear a warm jacket with faux fur and boots.
Our temperatures are still freezing and we even had snow again today!! There is not even a hint of spring yet.

But what is special about today’s look is not obvious at all:
The jacket I am wearing is actually a men’s jacket which my son bought in New York from Armani Exchange many years ago!
Lucas is a keen bodybuilder for several years now and recently added kickboxing to his exercise plan. That of course has transformed his body which is so well trained (and yes his sixpack is amazing!!) Naturally, this jacket doesn’t fit him any longer (and he also changed his style) so I took it to the dry cleaner and decided to sell it as it doesn’t make sense to keep it as I won’t wear it often enough.

Where do you sell clothes you don’t wear anylonger?

I have already marked my calendar for a major project: Clearing my wardrobes in the basement (plus the boxes and piles which didn’t fit in there 🙁 Which yet again leads me to the question where I can sell clothes which are still in a perfect condition. Obviously there are different options in various countries. For example Poshmark is not available in Germany and we also don’t have any decent consignment shops. I have tried ebay in the past but it is very time-consuming for just making a few Euros.
I was now looking into a Tictail Shop here on the blog.
Anybody tried it yet? I’d love to hear in the comments!
