NAVY STRIPES
rain which already started flooding roads in my area and there isn’t even a hint of hot and dry
summer weather.
My blogger friend Susanne of Texterella and her selection of navy looks inspired me to my new striped shirt with its cute boat neckline (similar here and here). Paired with white and a bit of a pink colour dash I do what I can to pretend its summer!!

Meine Bloggerfreundin Susi von Texterella und ihre Marinelooks haben mich zu meinem neuen Streifenshirt mit U-Bootausschnitt inspiriert (mehr in diesem Stil hier und hier). Zusammen mit einer weißen Hose und ein bisschen Pink tue ich farblich einfach so als wäre Sommer 😉 Und denen, die Susi’s Blog tatsächlich noch nicht kennen, empfehle ich dringend einen Besuch – nicht nur wg. meines Interviews hier, sondern vor allem weil Susi’s fantastischer Schreibstil und ihre Vielseitigkeit einfach grandios sind!

Ein Fan von Streifen-Shirts bin ich auch und du trägst heute ein besonders schönes Exemplar. Der U-Boot Ausschnitt macht das Shirt so besonders. Der Ausschnitt schmeichelt dir wunderbar und die Haare dazu hochzustecken ist eine gute Idee. Auch die weiße Hose und die flachen Schuhe passen perfekt zum Marine-Look.

Eigentlich weiß ich ja gar nicht, wo ich heute zuerst hinschauen soll. Von Kopf bis Fuß bist Du heute absolut nachahmenswert. Gut, bei der Frisur würde ich mich mit meiner Haarlänge sehr schwer tun, aber sie steht Dir ausgezeichnet. Weiter geht es mit Deinem genialen Streifenshirt (toller Ausschnitt) und der wunderschönen weißen Hose und dann trägst Du auch noch diese fantastischen Schuhe … Ich gerate absolut ins Schwärmen … Ganz liebe Grüße, Conny <3

also, falls du im Moment trüber Stimmung bist, transportierst du diese nicht auf deinen Fotos. Im Gegenteil, ich bekomme bei diesem herrlich maritimen Look sofort gute Urlaubslaune. Dieses Streifenshirt mit dem hübschen, französischen Kragen ist wirklich eine tolles Stück. Und ich muss deiner Tochter recht geben, die Frisur ist heute sehr gelungen. Beim Anblick deiner eigenen Fotos MUSS doch deine Laune trotz des Wetters einfach steigen!

Navy and white stripes are my all time favorite! Love this fun sweater. There is just something about navy and white that says fun, clean, classic all in one. I'm having a nautical theme (anchor's away tea party tomorrow, so wishing you lived near by and could join us in this fun attire.

I know what it's like waiting for summer to really start, dearest Annette…we haven't had an awful lot of really warm weather here in Vancouver, either!! Hi Annette,
Like the outfit, but not wild about how the top sits over the collar – its just one of my personal dislikes – I have enough of a challenge with collars and cowl necklines.
I'm still hunting for a pair of white jeans and since summer is arriving in our stores, I'm hopeful that I'll get a pair this coming season. My denim capris have had to be let go as they're now way too loose 🙁
I'm so thrilled that I'm able to comment – I have such a hard time leaving comments.
