Weekend in jeans this time, ready for a couple of errands and shopping.
I love to pair jeans with heels and a blazer or jacket and couldn’t resist to get my favourite nude peep toes out again for the first time after the winter!
The platform and height of the heels are so comfortable and I am looking for another pair of nude pumps for the spring.
Recently I have been wearing a lot of brighter colours and went back to my neutrals today. When I look at these photos now I think that more colours are better for me. I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Ich bin ja nicht der Jeans & T-Shirt Typ und kombiniere sie daher am liebsten mit Pumps und Blazer.
Endlich wieder eine Gelegenheit, meine Lieblingsschuhe anzuziehen, die super bequem sind. Ich möchte unbedingt ein weiteres Paar nudefarbene Pumps, da sie so vielseitig zu kombinieren sind und Ihr sie bestimmt noch häufiger mit Kleidern sehen werdet, sobald es warm wird (leider nicht diese Woche, wenn ich dem Wetterbericht vertraue!)
In letzter Zeit habe ich mehr kräftige Farben getragen als früher und bin heute zu meinen neutralen Tönen zurückgekehrt. Wenn ich die Fotos jetzt anschaue, bin ich nicht überzeugt und denke, ich sollte nächstes Mal wieder Farbe tragen. Was meint Ihr?

Again a perfect picture. Normally I am not at all a fan of neutrals. They look hideous on me (..) which is not a good benchmark to judge others, but they don't look very good on most women. At least not worn near your face. I have to say that I hesitate with you. When I saw your first photo I immediately said to myself: what a lovely jacket, it suits her so well. How nice with those perfect jeans.
Perhaps if you were to show me a similar outfit at the same time, but with a bright coloured jacket, I might compare better. But for now: neutrals look good on you.

Greetje, I agree with you and love pearls and these don't pretend to be expensive ones. Only my precious pearl necklace (not this one) I would wear with a LBD and then exclusively.
Thank you very much for your comment on the colours as well. With this ongoing bad weather I am still really pale. I prefer myself with a bit of a sun tan and neutrals look much better then.

Ich finde, beides steht dir sehr gut. Kräftige Farben sind halt auffälliger und erfrischender, wobei diese Naturtöne sehr edel an dir wirken. Das ganze Outfit steht dir sehr gut.
Ich kleide mich je nach Laune. Mal ist mir nach knalligen Pink, dann nach unschuldigen weiß, an deren Tagen gehe ich komplett in schwarz.
Man sollte sich nicht auf einen bestimmte Farbgrupppe festlegen.

Also ich finde, dass dir diese neutraleren Farben genau so gut stehen wie etwas stärkere. Durch deine Kombination wirken sie überhaupt nicht langweilig oder zu fad.
Das Jäckchen ist superschön, ich mag diesen Schnitt und die 3/4-Ärmel.

Vielen Dank, liebe Dana, die Schuhe gingen nur für ganz kurze Zeit!! Ich hatte alles, was mich an Winter erinnerte, so satt… Gleich danach waren wieder Stiefeletten angesagt und heute kamen meine Winterstiefel und mein Daunenmantel leider wieder zum Einsatz!

What a stunning outfit, love the jacket! You styled it very well, and yes, I think colour suits you. I had the misconception of colour belonging to a certain age, much younger than myself, but then a very stylish friend noticed how much more youthful colour makes you feel when getting older, and the confidence created by colour shows in the way we compose ourselves, I think! Neutrale Farben (beige, creme etc.) stehen dir sehr gut, aber auch Smaragd und Koralle von vorangegangenen Posts finde ich toll an dir. Schwarz etwas weniger. Ich selbst achte darauf, möglichst wenig schwarze Sachen mehr zu kaufen.

Ein toller Frühlingslook mit einer unglaublich süßen Jacke, liebe Annette! Ich finde, dass Dir der schlammige Ton gut steht, zumal auch frisches weiss dabei ist! Dennoch gefallen mir kräftigere Farben noch besser an Dir. Im Moment trage ich ebenfalls sehr gerne kräftige Farben und Muster und bin auch der Meinung, dass sie mehr besser als gedeckte Farben stehen. I'm late to the party, but so pleased to have found this site today, especially this outfit! I am in the midst of a closet purge and had convinced myself that all jackets of this shape had to go. Seeing yours styled like this persuaded me to give them another shot combined with jeans, which would not previously have occurred to me. Like you, I am not a huge fan of jeans, and usually pair them with a more structured jacket to dress them up. I can't wait to go through all your old posts to find even more great ideas!
